The Main TX/RX - Yaesu FT-897D feeds through an MFJ - 948 Deluxe Versa Tuner Aerial Matching Unit to an indoor doublet antenna. The feed is 50 ohm co-ax from the radio to the tuner, 18 ft. of co-ax to a homebrew balun which connects to 8 ft. of 450 ohm twin feeder up to the horizontal section of the doublet. Each arm of the doublet is 16 ft. long, not a 'Text book' antenna but it works.
My main operation is Data modes on all bands. I also occasionally use ECHOLINK.
